According to Architect
José Mario Maza, Director of the Museum of Modern Art,
Guatemala, Central America, "Priscilla Bianchi's art quilts
possess the qualities that define a work of art: originality,
individuality, aesthetic beauty, color, value, balance, rhythm,
technical mastery. The influence of her Guatemalan roots, that
constitute her main source of inspiration, can be appreciated
through her artistic expression.
Bianchi's artistic proposal is avant-garde
in that she incorporates our native, traditional textiles of
ancestral origins, in contrast with the vibrant, fresh, contemporary
appeal of her work."
